All of the above is stored locally on your device only, using encrypted device storage. We do not transmit this data to any third party.
When you open the app, it contacts the MarketCue backend to retrieve a market snapshot including price data, AI-generated insights, and momentum signals. No personally identifiable information is sent with these requests.
MarketCue uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate market summaries. Requests include market price data only — no user identity, device data, or personal information is included in AI requests.
If you grant notification permission, MarketCue schedules local alerts based on your selected interests (market open/close times, expiry reminders, SIP dates). These are scheduled entirely on your device — we do not send push notifications through external servers.
If you connect a broker account, the access token is stored locally on your device. Token exchange happens through a secure server-side flow. We do not store your broker credentials on our servers, and we do not place trades on your behalf.
MarketCue is an educational market-intelligence product. Nothing in the app constitutes investment advice, and no personally identifiable financial data is collected or stored.
